Surgical Oncology

We treat a wide variety of tumors. Examples of tumors treated include:

• Breast

• Skin Cancer including melanoma and other rare skin cancers

• Gastrointestinal Tract (small intestine, colon and rectal)

• Sarcomas of the abdomen and extremity

• Thyroid and parathyroid

• Lymph nodes
  

Treatment plans are developed through a multidisciplinary approach. This involves conference with other specialists including medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, social services and nutrition. This approach allows for an intersection of ideas and experience which leads to better quality and coordination of comprehensive treatment plans and improved outcomes.
